AKUGGI was founded by AJ Amer, who has spent years working inside the event industry — across finance, operations, logistics, creative, and project delivery. Not as an observer. As a practitioner who has built budgets under pressure, managed suppliers across time zones, and delivered events where things go wrong and you have to fix them fast.

That background is what makes AKUGGI different. The AI knowledge is real. But so is the understanding of what event work actually looks like — the timelines, the client pressure, the last-minute changes, the volume of admin that sits behind every successful event.

AKUGGI is based in Dubai and works with clients across the GCC and internationally. The consultancy draws on a network of specialist freelancers — each with deep expertise in AI applied to specific areas of the event industry — to deliver work that is practical, tested, and built for real teams.
